SERIES RULES
The race series includes all events listed on the calendar. The series allows riders to gauge themselves against other riders over a six month period. Riders will compete for prizes and bragging rights provided in points to leaders.
HOW DO I GET POINTS?
Ride in ANY MTB OR GRAVEL EVENT of the series races and you are entered into the series points standing. Each of the races will have registration categories outlined in our points section.
RULES TO FOLLOW
Riders will follow the rules and regulations provided by each of the race directors on race day. Register for the category which you feel best represents your riding level. To accumulate points you will want to sign up for the same category at each race, points do not transfer between classes. Aka if you race sport at one race and expert at another those points do not combine.
SCORING
Scoring is based on the point system:
1st: 200pts, 2nd: 195pts, 3rd: 190pts and so on. We will award riders with a DNF 5pts. Riders with the highest point totals win. We have 5 MTB races in 2025. For MTB, the 4 best results will count toward awards. If we have ties, we will count the 5th race as a tie breaker.
No minimum number of races entered to qualify for series awards.
SEASON AWARDS
We will have the following categories and classes for season awards.
This year, the MTB series will have 5 races:
- Expert – Expert Female
- Sport – Sport Female – Sport 40+ - Sport 55+ - E-Bike (Sponsored by Hollow Oak Land Trust)
- Novice – Novice Female.
Depending upon the participation, we will go 5 deep or 3 deep and the value of the awards will be based upon participation.
If we have higher than expected participation, or someone steps up to sponsor a category, we may increase the categories later.
PRIZES
Physical Prizes will be at each race director’s discretion. The cash payout will be provided for the top five racers in each category.
NUMBER PLATES
Number plates will be provided to each racer at their first race. Racers will be responsible for bringing this number plate to each of the races they participate.
DON’T LOSE YOUR NUMBER PLATE, PLEASE.
